EXHIBITED: 2010 Richmond Winter Festival of the Arts (coinciding with the Winter Olympics/Paralympics)

When I was bored one day, but didn't know what I should paint, I thought: 'Why not try the Creative Commons? I'll bet you I can find something interesting there!...'  So now, whenever I don't know what to paint next, I surf on over to the Commons - and there's always something interesting that's just dying to be a painting...

This may look like simple black on a white canvas... However... To get this effect, it required:

- 3 types of pigment markers
- 2 types of ink
- 5 different shades of spray paint
- 2 types of china markers
- graphite
- 2 shades of gesso
and
- 5 shades of acrylic!

All to make it look like simple black on white...
